Alikat is busy getting ready to leave for a week in Hawaii, while the rest of us are stuck here in rainy, gloomy ass Los Angeles.

What a bitch.

And she phoned in her picks. I mean, literally, after she sat with the lines and her research, she actually phoned in her picks for me to post.

Haha. The jokes on her when she finds out that Colt Brennan will be in New York for the Heisman selection.

All lines from BetOnline at Noon on 12/7

OUR MONEY PICKS

1. Giants +2.5 @ Philadelphia: Alikat says that you should buy the .5 point to get the Giants at +3. I think you should buy 50 points to get the Giants at +52.5. Like Ripley said in Aliens, “It’s the only way to be sure.”

2. San Diego @ Tennessee (Even): The Chargers seem to have their Norv Turner Disease under control so Alikat says take the Chargers. If you live in Southern California and listen to ESPN Radio, you’ll hear that STD Norv Turner do a commercial for Chargers football. Every time I hear it, I need to take a shower.

3. Cleveland -3 @ Jets: Take the Browns -3. I agree.

4. Tampa Bay -3 @ Houston: Take the Bucs -3. Again, Alikat is a genius.
THE REST OF THE DAY’S GAMES

Carolina +10.5 at Jacksonville: Take Jacksonville at -10.5

Dallas -10.5 at Detroit: Take the Cowboys at -10.5

Miami +7 at Buffalo: She says take Buffalo at -7. Every now and again, Alikat asks me how I feel about a game, not that I know anything about sports betting. That being said, this is a game that I would stay away from.

Oakland +10.5 @ Green Bay: Alikat says take the Raiders at +10.5. My gut says that Yellow and Green Jesus (Ryan Grant) will run all over the Raiders defense.

St. Louis +7.5 @ Cincinnati: Take the Rams at +7.5

Arizona +7 @ Seattle: Take the Cardinals at +7

Minnesota -8.5 @ San Francisco: Take the Vikings at -8.5. Let me guess, the Vikings game plan is going to be give it to Adrian Peterson.

Pittsburgh +10 @ New England: Alikat says take the Patriots at -10. I say pick the Steelers to win outright. Or lose by 3.

Kansas City +6.5 @ Denver: Take Denver at -6.5. Personally, I’d stay the hell away from this game.

Indianapolis -9 @ Baltimore: Take the Colts at -9.

So I ended up being wrong on the Packers vs Cowboys game! All you sports betting freaks out there know it’s time for a little comeback this Sunday. The game did come pretty close to my totals prediction though and although he wasn’t playing very well at the beginning, Favre would have made a great comeback in the second half had he been healthy. I just don’t know what McCarthey was thinking with his play calling in the 1st and 2nd quarters. Too much bombs away and not enough of the short passing game that had been so successful for them the entire year. Oh well, it’s on to the Sunday Games!

Money Picks

1. Seahawks +3 @ Eagles

Just because the Eagles stayed with the Pats last Sunday Night doesn’t mean they’ve turned the corner as a team. They still have huge problems in the secondary and that was a once in a lifetime performance for A.J. Feeley. The Seahawks are playing up to their potential right now and I gotta feeling old Alexander just might want to show the NFL he’s still around. Baldy Matt will get it done in the 4th quarter so…

TAKE THE SEAHAWKS +3

2. Bucs +3 @ Saints

We still don’t know if Jeff Garcia is going to be able to play in this game due to his sore back. It’s sounding like he won’t and even if he does he’s not going to have the mobility that is his trademark. Luke McCown isn’t going to get it done and neither will Gradkowski. This is a MUST WIN Game for the Saints unless they want to start making travel plans for 2008.

TAKE THE SAINTS -3

3. Browns +1 @ Cardinals

The JV Patriots come into the Crazy Desert for a showdown with the inconsistent Cards. Boy did they blow that game last week against the 49ers. They are going to be missing S Adrian Wilson, which is a huge blow to their Defensive backend. He is to the Cards what Rodney Harrison is to the Patriots. They both bring the intensity and leadership that you just can’t measure on paper. The Browns have too many weapons for the Cards to handle and if they don’t drink the desert water on Saturday Night they will come out on top by a touchdown.

TAKE THE BROWNS +1

4. Jaguars +6.5 @ Colts

This game should be a good one with 1st place in the AFC South on the line. The Jags have been one of the most consistent teams in the league this year and Jack Del Rio would love to avenge that Monday Night Loss to the Colts earlier this year. The Colts are starting to get healthy again though and Peyton is due for a HUGE GAME. Hell, he watched how bad his brother played last week and figures somebody better uphold the Manning Name. This game will be close for 3 quarters and then I think Manning will put up some fast points and the Colts…

TAKE THE COLTS -6.5. If you see them at -7 either buy down the 1/2 point or PASS on this bet. They are -6.5 right now on betonline

5. Broncos -3.5 @ Raiders

The Broncos are in a Must Win situation going against another McCown, this time Josh. Why don’t we see the McCown Father all over TV like we do Archie Manning? Can anybody tell me where these kids came from? The Raiders can run the ball and the Broncos sure as hell can’t defend the run, but Shanahan will load up the box on these guys and make Josh beat them deep. We all know that’s not going to happen so here’s to Cutler having a great day and maybe we’ll finally get to see an appearance by Jamarcus Russell.

TAKE THE BRONCOS -3. Buy down the 1/2 point or take a risk with the -3.5 line. I really believe the Broncos will win this by a touchdown, but I tend to get a little conservative when I see that HOOK sitting there on a 3 point line, especially in a divisional rivalry game.

THE REST OF THE BUNCH

1. Falcons +3 @ Rams

Does anybody really care about this game outside Atlanta and St. Louis? They are both playing for next year or draft picks in 2008. The Rams have a healthy Stephen Jackson and the Falcons have Joey Harrington.

TAKE THE RAMS -3

2. Bills +6 @ Redskins

I’m not going to sanction Betting on This Game due to the tragedy of Sean Taylor’s Death. I hope the Redskins are able to come out and play well for their fallen teammate. It is going to be an emotional roller coaster for that organization over the next 48 hours. I wish them the best and my thoughts go out to the Taylor Family and the Redskin organization in their time of grief.

3. Lions +4 @ Vikings

Well it doesn’t look so hot for the Lions anymore does it Detroit Fans. I’ve been waiting for the clock to strike midnight on you guys. The Vikings are starting to get more and more Big Plays on Defense and T-Jack is playing better at QB. I just hope ‘Purple Jesus’ stays healthy tomorrow, we’re going to need him over the next decade. Kitna will get sacked at least 5 times tomorrow and the psychic friends network can wait another year until they hire ole Jonny Kitna.

TAKE THE VIKINGS -4

4. Texans +3.5 @ Titans

The Titans better get it going or a season that was looking pretty good only 3 weeks ago will be over faster than Pacman Jones can throw dollars at a stripper. It sounds like they are going to finally get Albert Haynesworth back tomorrow which should shore up their D-Line. The Texans can score quickly if Matt Schaub gets a little time so this game should be close. In the end Vince Young will make a play to save the season for the Titans!

TAKE THE TITANS -3.5

5. Jets +1.5 @ Dolphins

I really don’t have much to say about this game other than hopefully in a couple of years the 2 young QB’s in this game, John Beck for the Dolphins and Kellen Clemens for the Jets will be playing for a whole lot more than they will be on Sunday. The Mormon will get his first win…

TAKE THE DOLPHINS -1.5

6. Chargers -6 @ Chiefs

The Chargers never play well in Arrowhead stadium and now they have to do it with the dreaded Norv Turner STD. You at least get to take the Chiefs on with Damon Huard as their starting QB. The Chargers have been looking good on offense lately and the Chiefs couldn’t score if you gave them a bottle of tequila and a naked Britney Spears!

TAKE THE CHARGERS -6

7. 49ers +3 @ Panthers

The 49ers just might start making a little late season run here. I’m kidding! They did show some flashes of the team they were supposed to be last week in Arizona. If Frank Gore runs around like he did last week they will walk away with this game. The Panthers are just brutal right now and have yet to Win a Home game this year.

TAKE THE 49ERS +3

8. Giants -1.5 @ Bears

I sure hope for Eli’s sake that he has somewhat of a good game or else the N.Y. Post might just throw rocks at his car or some crazy shit! The Bears counter with Sexy Rexy. Man, if you could be a fly on the wall in the Dive Bars of Chicago and NYC tomorrow late afternoon! I would love to hear some of the Drunken Poems that come out of the mouths of die hard fans who have $100 bucks on either of these two QB’s! In the end I think the Giants pass rush will get to Rex, but then Devin Hester will probably find a way to score as a wide receiver since the Giants surely are smart enough to not kick it to him, right? You see where I’m going with this? Just watch this game and all the soap opera aspects to it without having to sweat the money, okay!

TAKE THE GIANTS -1.5. Only if you are a true Gambling Junkie should you play this game. It’s just too crazy!

9. Bengals +7 @ Steelers

The Bengals are starting to play much better as of late. Getting WR Chris Henry back has helped along with Chad Johnson finally finding the endzone again. I think this game will be close, but in the end I like the ability of the Steelers to run against a really mediocre linebacking crew of the Bengals.

TAKE THE STEELERS -7

So there you have it sports betting junkies. I’ll give you my Monday Night Pick on Monday afternoon. Have a great Sunday and we’ll talk soon!

So how’s the Thanksgiving Weekend treating all you sports betting freaks out there? Have you all seen some of the College Football Games this weekend. Amazing to say the least! In the past 2 days I have watched about 9 hours of SEC Football. On Friday you had Arkansas vs LSU, in a Marathon event, with the Razorbacks knocking off the #1 team in the country in 3 OT’s and then today the Volunteers take down the Kentucky Wildcats in 4 OT’s. You couldn’t pitch this stuff to a Movie Producer without getting laughed at. If Week 12 in the NFL is half as good as those 2 games I’ll be very happy. So, it’s late and of course I have drank way too much and had some delicious pumpkin cheesecake this weekend so I’ll be a little more brief in my breakdowns of the games tonight. Just remember we are already 1-0 in the Money Picks with the Packers covering on Turkey Day. So here we go. Remember all lines are from betonline.com as of 1am pacific time Sunday. Best of luck to you all!

Money Picks

1. Broncos +1.5 @ Bears

The Broncos are starting to look like the team everybody ‘Thought they were’ in the pre-season magazines. Sexy Rex will not be able to sling it like his counterpart Jay Cutler. The Bears are not consistent and the Broncos are getting their S… together.

TAKE THE BRONCOS +1.5

2. Texans +3 @ Browns

Should be a shootout. Probably will be something in-between. Either way I like what I’m seeing in the Browns Offense much more than what I see in the Texans Defense.

TAKE THE BROWNS -3

3. Seahawks -3 @ Rams

These games are supposed to be close, but the Seahawks are getting their act together now that Alexander isn’t around to foul things up. They need this Win to stay 1 game ahead of the Cards in the West. The Rams are getting healthy, but it’s too little too late.

TAKE THE SEAHAWKS -3

4. Saints -2 @ Panthers

This line was at -2.5 for the Saints and then you hear Old Vinny might not play due to a stiff back and the line goes down for the Saints, hmm? It doesn’t matter if Reggie Bush can’t play this Sunday. It really doesn’t freaks. This offense goes as Brees goes and he’ll go against the Panthers.

TAKE THE SAINTS -2

5. Redskins +3 @ Bucs

This game is tricky and I’m bucking the stats and the way the Bucs have been playing at home all year on this one. The Redskins are a few plays away from being 7-3 and Jason Campbell is starting to come of age. I know they are banged up right now, but these two teams always play close games and I’m going with the Dawg!

TAKE THE REDSKINS +3

THE REST OF THE BUNCH OF HOOLIGANS

1. Titans -1.5 @ Bengals

This game could make my Money Picks if I knew the status of DT Albert Haynesworth. We won’t know for sure until probably 20 minutes before game time. My hunch is he’ll play, but I’m waiting to hear before I play this game. If he does play I would go with the Titans as they are a completely different team with him in the line up. If he sits another one out I would go the other way and play on the Bengals. I know it sounds strange to put this much emphasis on one DT, but as he goes so goes the Titans defense.

WAIT FOR STATUS ON DT HAYNESWORTH AND PLAY ACCORDINGLY (See Above)

2. Bills +8.5 @ Jags

The Bills won’t have RB Lynch on their side. How in the hell are they going to score against the Jags without him? If the Jags don’t self-destruct, as they’ve been know to do, this game should be over by the start of the 4th quarter.

TAKE THE JAGS -8.5

3. Raiders +4.5 @ Chiefs

I guarantee you this won’t be half as exciting as the Missouri vs Kansas game played just 15 hours before or half as loud. Both the QB’s in this NFL affair would sit on the bench at Missouri with the way Chase Daniels plays the position. Remember that name Freaks, Chase Daniels will be an NFL Star someday soon. As for this one I see the Chiefs without Larry Johnson and I have to go with…

TAKE THE RAIDERS +4.5

4. Vikings +7 @ Giants

I hope to hell that ‘Crazy Childress’ keeps Peterson off the field for one more week. I don’t need to see that kind of talent wasted away on the field in NY over trying to save Childress’s Job. The Giants need this game badly to keep ahead in the Wildcard Hunt.

TAKE THE GIANTS -7

5. 49er’s +10 @ Cardinals

The Niners can’t do anything right now. The Cards are starting to ‘Believe’. Crazy things go on in the desert so I wouldn’t be shocked if this goes the other way in terms of Covers, but…

TAKE THE CARDS -10

6. Ravens +8.5 @ Chargers

The Ravens have been brutally bad on the road this season. The Chargers need this game if they are to stave off being completely taken over by ‘Norv Turner’s STD’! Problem is that Philip Rivers can’t seem to find anything he can READ that doesn’t involve wrong colored jerseys. If you Must Bet, and I mean Must Bet, cause you need something to sweat out from this weekend then by all means go ahead and play this game. Nobody has a clue who’s going to show up here, but…

TAKE THE CHARGERS -8.5

7. Eagles +24 @ Patriots

That’s not a misprint Guys and Gals. That’s not even a College Football Line. That’s a line in the NFL for the Sunday Night Special. Madden gets to gush over Tom Brady all over again. McNabb is out and A.J. Feeley is in at QB. Everything in me says take the points and go to sleep knowing you will be at the Bank on Monday Morning… Empty handed because of the Drive-By from BMH. BMH is the new name I’m giving for Brady-Moss-Harrison They are a 3 member gang from somewhere in the hills just south of Boston. Armed and extremely dangerous. One can Shoot, one can Fly, and One can Hit like a MOFO!

TAKE THE PATS

8. Dolphins +15.5 @ Steelers

This game sure does sound like a hangover from the weekend huh? Another bad Monday Night game. We’ve had far too many the past 3 weeks in my opinion. Maybe we’ll at least get to see a ‘New and Improved’ Ricky Williams if Jessie Chatman can’t heal up in time. Imagine if Ricky goes off the hook and the Mormon QB Beck throws a couple of TD’s. Now that could get entertaining for Kornheiser. A Weed Addict and a Mormon in the same backfield. I’m telling you you can’t write some of these crazy ass storylines.

TAKE THE STEELERS -15.5

So there you go! Enjoy your last day of the Long Ass Weekend and I’ll talk to you in a few days.

dallas_cheerleaders.jpg

So here we go sports betting freaks with another Sunday. Should be some close games coming down to the wire, as there are a lot of 3 point lines this week. Last week we went 4-2 in our Money Picks! Let’s see if we can keep it going towards our goal of 60% for the year with a Great Day tomorrow. It’s getting a lot colder in many parts of the country so you better be getting a bunch of Jack Daniel’s and Beer in your system to FIRE up that mouth that is sure to be hollering at the crazy bounce of the ole pigskin come tomorrow. I think we all just need to start the Thanksgiving Holidays off a little early by Kicking up our Heels with a Great Week of Eating, Drinking, Betting, and a few other things we all love to do to relieve Stress…xxx

MONEY PICKS

1. Chargers +3 @ Jags

The Chargers are still struggling despite last week’s gift from Vegas and Vinaterri. The Jags have the better Run D and Run Offense. Phillip Rivers just isn’t getting it done this year and he won’t start tomorrow.

TAKE THE JAGS -3

2. Steelers -9.5 @ Jets

The Steelers are quite possibly the 2nd best team in the NFL behind you know who. The Jets are already trying to see who will be part of the organization in 2008.

TAKE THE STEELERS -9.5

3. Bucs -3 @ Falcons

Bobby Petrino still doesn’t know who he’s going to go with, Leftwich or Harrington. It really doesn’t matter as both are prone to big mistakes. Gruden has had 2 weeks to get the Bucs focused on making a playoff run in the NFC South.

TAKE THE BUCS -3

4. Saints +1 @ Texans

Both of these teams have been up and down this year and this game probably shouldn’t be on the money pick list, but I gotta feeling for some reason. That reason is the Saints still have a playoff spot to play for and Drew Brees is returning to his home state, so you know he wants to put on a good show. He’s a little better on this day than Matt Schaub in a close game.

TAKE THE SAINTS +1

5. Giants -2.5 @ Lions

This game will have huge implications on the playoff picture in the NFC. The Giants need to show they can start playing smart football in big games and the Lions need to show the country they are For Real. I like the D-Line of the Giants to get to Kitna a little too much tomorrow. Manning directs a final drive and hits Shockey in the end zone for a game winning touchdown!

TAKE THE GIANTS -2.5

6. Rams -3 @ 49ers

Trent Dilfer is in at QB for the Niners. I guess that shows how much trust Nolan has in Alex Smith’s health, both mentally and physically. The Niners just can’t get anything going offensively and I don’t see an explosion happening tomorrow. The Rams are starting to get a little healthier and their pride is beginning to show up. They lost the first game between these two back in September so I see a little revenge coming on!

TAKE THE RAMS -3

THE REST OF THE BUNCH OR GAMES I’D PLAY IF I HAD A GUN TO MY HEAD

1. Chiefs +14.5 @ Colts

The Colts are seething and the Chiefs are starting Brodie Croyle at QB minus Larry Johnson. Looks like a great recipe for getting back to kickin ass.

TAKE THE COLTS -14.5

2. Raiders +4.5 @ Vikings

This game has come down from +5.5 so obviously there are a lot of people thinking the Raiders are finally going to Win. Culpepper is in at QB to face his old Love Boat Team. The Vikings are going to struggle without Peterson in at Tailback despite Chester Taylor being a 1,000 yard rusher last year. I just don’t have the faith that the Vikings can get it in the endzone enough to cover this many points though I do think they will Win this game.

TAKE THE RAIDERS +4.5

3. Browns -2.5 @ Ravens

We’re going to see if the Browns are for real. They haven’t Won a Divisional Road Game since 2003. The Ravens look so bad on offense they have switched to Kyle Boller for inspiration. This game is really interesting to me as I would love to see the Browns take it to the Ravens and put this team in the coffin for 2007. Everything says to me that the Browns should Win this Game, yet…

TAKE THE RAVENS +3. Buy the 1/2 point if you need to. Most sportsbook already have the Browns at -3. Something tells me the Ravens are severely overdue for a good game at Home!

4. Cards +3 @ Bengals

This game could go either way and be a lot of fun to watch or it could just be a total snoozer. You just can’t get a gauge on these two teams. I like the Cards Defense to stuff the line of scrimmage and make it a hard hitting game. The Bengals have really struggled inside the Red Zone this year and the Cards are scoring touchdowns at about a 50% clip when they get inside the 20 yard line.

TAKE THE CARDS +3.

5. Dolphins +9.5 @ Eagles

The Dolphins are finally turning to 2nd Round Draft Pick, John Beck, to bring them a victory. I like this kid out of BYU and think he’s going to be a good one someday, just not in Philly during November. The Dolphins will keep it close for awhile and then McNabb takes over.

TAKE THE EAGLES -9.5

6. Panthers +9.5 @ Packers

The old men are getting together for a reunion of sorts as Favre’s first start in the NFL came against Vinny Testaverde. The Pack are looking very tough and the Panthers just can’t function on offense without Jake Delhomme. John Fox’s team plays well as a road underdog but…

TAKE THE PANTHERS +10. Buy up the 1/2 point to 10 if you have to.

7. Redskins +11 @ Cowboys

The Skins are hurting right now without Sean Taylor, James Thrash, Brandon Lloyd, and Carlos Rogers. The Cowboys are hitting on all cylinders and I don’t see them getting tripped up in this bitter rivalry, but who knows…

TAKE THE REDSKINS +11

8. Bears +5.5 @ Seahawks

Sexy Rex is back at the controls for the high flying Bears offense! You just gotta love how much a soap opera his saga is. The Seahawks found out how much better they are without Shawn Alexander this past Monday. This game could be a lot of Fun. I like it to be close and Sexy Rex will either Win it or be the Goat again as usual.

TAKE THE BEARS +6. I would buy up 1/2 point from +5.5

9. Patriots -15.5 @ Bills

Will the Bills pull off the upset of the year? Of course not, though I do think this will be interesting for the 1st quarter if there is a bunch of wind tomorrow night in Buffalo. After that Brady will start throwing to Moss and Maroney will bust a run and you know the REST…

TAKE THE PATS -15.5

10. Titans +2 @ Broncos

Even though Vince Young is struggling as of late he still knows how to win as the underdog as does Jeff Fisher. The Titans have the better Run offense and Run Defense and that’s what this game will come down to.

TAKE THE TITANS +2

So go out and get a little drink on tomorrow and lets start the Thanksgiving weekend 4 days early!

For those of you Seattle fans cheering for this victory, I’d just like to point out that for a team that should have routed the hapless 49ers, the Seahawks only managed 24 points and furthermore, the game was still “close” in that 3rd quarter.  Given the four or five chances in that quarter, the Niners offense just couldn’t get anything done.  All I have to say is that the 49ers rushed for positive yards, unlike the Lion and their -18 rushing yards on Sunday.

In all seriousness, our condolences go out to the Nolan family.

steelersbrownsfan.JPG

So here we go sports betting freaks! It’s Rivalry Week this Sunday. Steelers/Browns, Cowboys/Giants, Packers/Vikings, Eagles/Redskins, and on and on! Who you all got? I hope the games can live up to the fight earlier tonight between Miguel Cotto and Shane Mosley. Now that was a good boxing match for a change. Sorry this post is getting out late. I had to go out of town unexpectedly and just got back in tonight. Let’s get to the picks.

MONEY PICKS

1. Jags +5 @ Titans

This game is coming down to who can run the ball and defend the run better, right? Right, except I always see these kinds of games turning on a special teams play or a QB getting hot! I gotta feeling David Garrard will show up at some point in this game. He’s listed as questionable and will be a game time decision. The Titans have been on a roll of late, but I think the slipper is about to fall off. The Jags really need this game after dropping last week’s game against the Saints.

TAKE THE JAGS +5 points

2. Cowboys -1.5 @ Giants

I look at the Giants and I see a vastly improved team. The problem is they have done all of this improving against teams like the Falcons, Dolphins, Jets, and the 49ers. You play who you’re scheduled to play, but 4 wins against these teams is nothing like they are going to face with the Cowboys coming to town. Dallas runs the ball stronger in the red zone and defends the run better all over the field. As long as Tony Romo doesn’t get into his ‘Buffalo Bill Daze’ they should be able to win by a touchdown!

TAKE THE COWBOYS -1.5 points

3. Vikings +5.5 @ Packers

I know I know. I’m not supposed to do this, but it’s the Vikings/Packers! Lambeau field will be rocking and so will ‘Purple Jesus’ All Day Adrian Peterson. He’s going to go off for another 135 yards and a couple of touchdowns. Favre will throw 2 picks and the Vikes always play well in Green Bay. I’ve seen this line at +6 most of the week and it’s still at +6 on bodog so…

TAKE THE VIKINGS +6. Find a book that has them at +6, don’t go out and buy up from +5.5

4. Colts -3.5 @ Chargers

Both of these teams are limping into this game. The Colts are going to be without WR Marvin Harrison and Anthony Gonzalez, along with LT Tony Ugoh. On the Chargers side they will be without starting center Nick Hardwick, CB Quentin Jammer, and DE Luis Castillo. I think the injuries to the Chargers are more problematic for them than what the Colts have to deal with. Manning always loves playing in big time night games. Norv Turner is still Norv Turner STD!

TAKE THE COLTS -3. Buy down the 1/2 point from -3.5

5. Bears -3.5 @ Raiders

The Bears are coming off a bye week and if they are going to have any chance of getting back into this season they have to have this game. The Raiders are a little dinged up for this one with along with the fact that they just don’t have an answer at QB. I thought Culpepper was going to seize control of that earlier this season, but it just didn’t work out. Josh McCown is not the answer. Can anyone say “Bring in the Rook”!

TAKE THE BEARS -3. Buy down from -3.5

6. Falcons +3.5 @ Panthers

I know I’m slumming when I put the Falcons on the Money Pick board regardless of who they’re playing and by how many points they’re getting. They had the Panthers the first time this year until Deangelo Hall started thinking he was Deion Sanders. The Panthers are going to be playing most of this game with Matt Moore at QB! Unless Old Man Vinny can get a good shot of cortisone before game time this has the makings of an upset, even with Joey Harrington at the helm for the Falcons. A small play here!

TAKE THE FALCONS +4. Buy up 1/2 point from +3.5

THE REST OF THE BUNCH OR GAMES I’D PLAY IF I HAD A GUN TO MY HEAD OR JUST TOO MANY SHOTS OF JACK DANIELS

1. Bills -3 @ Dolphins

I really want to play on the Bills I found myself saying earlier this week. I then slapped myself and got a drink. The Bills have come along nicely since their injury ravaged beginning, but they still haven’t unhooked their offense and you gotta figure the Dolphins are due to Win at least 1 game this year at home.

TAKE THE BILLS -3

2. Rams +10.5 @ Saints

The Rams are finally getting back Stephen Jackson this week. Problem is it’s a little late for supper. The Rams are just playing for pride and chicks at this point. I mean you gotta play for something don’t you? I think the Saints should take this game by at least 4 points, but…

TAKE THE RAMS +10.5

3. Browns +10 @ Steelers

I learned my lesson with the Steelers as Double Digit favorites at home for the last time on Monday Night. I took the Ravens and lost just like I did with the 49ers earlier in the year. Everyone thinks this game will be closer than the spread and I just don’t! The Steelers are playing the best football around outside of Pat/Colt Land and the Browns, though much better, have racked up these victories against less than stellar teams. Sunday they will run into a car wreck in LB James Harrison!

TAKE THE STEELERS -9.5. Buy down 1/2 point from -10

4. Bengals +3.5 @ Ravens

I want so badly to play this game! You would think the Bengals could get something going on offense now that they have WR Chris Henry back, but something is just so far off with these guys. I know they have been ravaged by the injury bug on Defense, but come on Palmer O, get the FUCK going! The Ravens can’t score and Steve McNair looks worse than some JV QB’s from Missouri. The Ravens will be without Samari Rolle again and probably Chris Mcalister. I gotta go…

TAKE THE BENGALS +4. Buy the 1/2 point up from +3.5

5. Eagles +3 @ Redskins

McNabb has one last shot at saving his reputation on Sunday. The problem is the Eagles have many other worries than just McNabb. No receivers, shitty O-Line play, coaching decisions, and an overrated Defense! The Redskins will probably be without Santana Moss which will hurt, but they have the overall stronger team and Clinton Portis is starting to look like the Portis of a couple of years ago.

TAKE THE REDSKINS -2.5. If you’re going to play this game I would buy down to -2.5 from the current -3. This game looked better early in the week when it was at -2.5 and before you knew the extent of injuries of Moss and Randle El!

6. Broncos +3 @ Chiefs

This game could just be ugly any way you slice it. Johnson is out for the Chiefs. We don’t know how bad that ankle is for Cutler. The Broncos look like hell right now and the Chiefs without Johnson will have a hard time scoring.

TAKE THE BRONCOS +3

7. Lions +1.5 @ Cardinals

The Lions are starting to feel the groove that Jon Kitna had promised them. Now we’ll finally see ‘Who God Truly Loves’. Will it be Kurt Warner or Jon Kitna? The Republican National Committee should send operatives down to Arizona immediately! I’m going to go with…

TAKE THE CARDS -1.5 at Home. God chooses Kurt Warner because he doesn’t want to deal with the wrath of Kurt’s Wife!

8. 49ers +9.5 @ Seahawks

This is another game that could get real ugly. It looks as if Shaun Alexander will be missing for the Seahawks. That shouldn’t matter too much since he has been missing all year. The 49ers can’t get anything going this year on offense after being crowned ‘Team on the Rise’ by everybody, including myself and Madison, in the sporting world. Maybe Alex Smith should cheat on the 49ers and have a little fling with Norv ‘STD’ Turner down in some oceanside motel next week just to get the juices flowing again!

TAKE THE 49ERS +10 points. Buy the 1/2 point up from +9.5

So there you have it boys and girls. Sorry for it being so late and all. I’m going to skip the coffee tomorrow and head straight for the Screwdrivers. Nothing like a little O.J. and Vodka to get a girl pumped up for the Vikings vs Packers! Good luck to all you sports betting freaks and we’ll talk to you on Monday!

So here we go sports betting freaks with the second half of the season getting underway! Of course everybody is talking about ‘The Game of the Century’ this Sunday between the Pats and Colts. I’m going to be one of the first people to tell you to just sit back and watch this game as opposed to betting on it. When you have such superstars all over the field it’s my opinion you should just enjoy the Show and not be worried for 3 1/2 hours how your team is doing against the spread. I know this sounds strange coming from a sports betting freak like myself, but I still love the game for what it is when you get the best of the best playing each other. Now, as for my thoughts on the game itself I must say 2 things:

1. I personally hate the Colts! I can’t stand Peyton Manning’s throwing motion and I find them very boring to watch. I know Madison is ready to chomp off the legs of Tom Brady and desperately wants to see the Pats go down. I on the other hand love the fact that the Pats are toying with the rest of the league and would love nothing more than for them to absolutely Smoke the Colts in the RCA Dome like they did the first half of last year’s AFC Title Game.

2. I love how the Pats have turned the Videotape scandal thing into a personal ‘I’m the Victim’ psychological choke hold on the rest of their opponents. There is nothing more I love watching in sports than an individual or team with a Huge Chip on their shoulders pointing to whomever they play and telling them exactly what they will do to them and then going out and doing it!

With regards to the match-ups:

I think the Colts will have no answer for Randy Moss! Remember that Randy loves the spotlight and he did the best of his work on the turf inside the Metrodome. He’s got the QB to get him the ball and there is nobody on the Colts that can go Man to Man with the fastest and smartest receiver in the game, when he wants to be, and Sunday he will want to be!

The Pats have Asante Samuel in the secondary. Remember, he had a great game last year against the Colts and I expect him to have another one. With Marvin Harrison out the Pats have one less superstar receiver to worry about and that bodes well for Samuel to focus more on Reggie Wayne.

Last year the Pats didn’t have the athletic and versatile Addalius Thomas in their linebacking crew. This guy can do so much and will create problems for the Colts to match-up with. You can put him down on the blocks, drop him in the flat and middle to cover the RB’s and TE’s, and of course bring him on delayed blitzes to pound Manning into the turf! I see Thomas having a huge day against the Colts.

In the end I expect a pretty good game for awhile, but the Pats can and will win this game by more than a touchdown! They have been waiting for this game since their breakdown in the 2nd half of last year’s Title game. Brady is pissed, Moss wants more PR, and Belichek will pull out all stops on Manning with his defensive schemes. Final score 42-31 Patriots! Now on to the Money Picks!

Money Picks Lines are from betonline.com as of Satuday 3pm est

1. Redskins -3.5 @ Jets

The Skins are coming off the debacle in New England and know they have to Win to stay close to the Cowboys. They just have more talent overall than the Jets do, plus the fact that their D is going against a very raw Rookie QB in Kellen Clemens!

TAKE THE SKINS -3. Buy the 1/2 point down from -3.5

2. Chargers -7 @ Vikings

I bet you never thought I would be betting against my Vikings did you? In this case I have to. The Chargers are getting back to last year’s form and the Vikings can’t defend the pass to save a life. Antonio Gates will have a field day against them! The Vikings offense cannot get into the endzone despite having the best tailback in the NFL in Adrian Peterson.

TAKE THE CHARGERS -6.5 Buy the 1/2 points down from -7

3. Bengals -1 @ Bills

Normally I would go with the Bills here at home, but the Bengals are ripe for the old DUE factor finally kicking in. They still have 2 of the best WR’s in the game with T.J. ‘Who’s your Momma’ and Chad ‘I need a new act’ Johnson. The Bills will struggle to stay with these 2 guys and Carson Palmer will get a Win on the Road!

TAKE THE BENGALS -1

4. Seahawks +1.5 @ Browns

The ‘Greastest Show in the Midwest’ returns home after taking care of the Rams last week on the road. Braylon Edwards is finally living up to his Pre-Draft hype and Derek Anderson is making it hard for the Browns Brass this off-season. He simply is making great throws and decisions. The Seahawks are stumbling around plenty so far this year and they are terrible (1-8 ats after bye week) and (2-9 ats away vs non-conf. opponent) in this particular situation.

TAKE THE BROWNS -1.5

THE REST OF THE BUNCH!

1. Packers +2.5 @ Chiefs

Pack are on a roll though this is the 2nd of BB road games. The Chiefs are very tough at home and Coach Edwards is (6-1) after bye weeks in his career. The Pack have Favre plus points and the Chiefs have Jared Allen on the DLine. I’ll take…

The Packers +3. Buy the 1/2 point up from +2.5

2. Cards +3.5 @ Bucs

This game could frankly go anyway given these two teams history over the past couple of years. You just don’t know which team is ever going to show up for the Cards. QB Garcia is playing very good this year and I think they will bounce back after a disappointing loss against the Jags last Sunday.

TAKE THE BUCS -3. Buy the 1/2 point down from -3.5

3. Panthers +4 @ Titans

The Panthers could make this a very tough game for the Titans as they do not beat teams by resounding scores. I like Vince Young getting a little healthier than last week and the fact that the Panthers are more than a little shaky at the QB position.

TAKE THE TITANS -3.5 Buy the 1/2 point down from -4

4. 49ers +3.5 @ Falcons

The 49ers are more than struggling with no output from Alex Smith this year (At least Norv Turner is good for one thing). The Falcons are even more of a mess. I gotta go with…

TAKE THE 49ers +3.5

5. Jags +3 @ Saints

The Saints are getting a little of that swagger back and the Jags are still with Byron Leftwich (I mean Quinn Gray, no I mean… Christ do those two look alike or what).

TAKE THE SAINTS -3 at Home!

6. Broncos +3 @ Lions

Jon Kitna is half way there to joining the Psychic Friends Network! I still don’t think he’ll get in and it starts this Sunday against a Broncos team that desperately needs a Win!

TAKE THE BRONCOS +3

7. Texans +3 @ Raiders

Seriously boys and girls, is anybody going to be watching this game? Oh my bad, I guess the Gangbangers in Oakland and LA will be watching. Sage Rosenfels is in at QB for the Texans. Enough said!

TAKE THE RAIDERS -3

8. Cowboys -3 @ Eagles

Madison said Tony has been seen with Britney Spears. Jesus, has the 67 million already gone to his upper Head! Tony, here’s a little piece of advice: Start dating some Brunette’s. We’re so much smarter than the average blonde and the Kink factor with us is Off the Charts!

TAKE THE EAGLES +3.5

9. Ravens +9 @ Steelers

The funny thing about this game is the Ravens match-up very well with the Steelers. I think the Ravens are very overated and they can’t score like the Vikings. The Steelers are playing very well right now and I foresee them making a final four appearance in the AFC Playoffs, but…

TAKE THE RAVENS +9 points. That’s a lot of points for a Monday Night NFL Game!

GAME OF THE CENTURY SEE ABOVE! TAKE THE PATS -5.5!

Enjoy your Super Bowl Sunday as this will be much like the Super Bowl: A complete overhyped and dull game or a down to the wire field goal barn burner won by the guy who replaced Adam Vinatteri in Patriotville, Stephen Gotkowski or something like that! Drink up and remember not to take out your gambling losses on your wives or girlfriends.
