buffalo-vs-new-england.jpg

This post was guest-blogged by Iron Mike at Educated Bet.

This Sunday night matchup is more of a must win for Buffalo than it is for the Patriots. Is New England Ripe For The Pickin’? New England comes into Buffalo undefeated at 9-0 . The Bills have a four game winning streak , winning five out of the last six (only loss being to Dallas on the last play of the game). Buffalo may have a chance of making the post season, which Bills fans have long awaited. JP Lossman is the starting QB, and has a lot to prove seeing as though he has been the Bill’s back up to Trent Edwards during most of the Bills recent success.

The Bills are in a great position to spoil an undefeated season for the Pat’s.

Buffalo is fired up for this matchup. They had an exciting week coming up to todays game. They made a HONKIN time change for this game that’s not a small deal! Then they will be without rookie super star Marshawn Lynch which will potentially effect the Bills running game.

Rumor has it that the Bill’s made the time change in an attempt to throw the Patriots off their game. Then the entire coaching staff is going to wear hoodies with cut off sleeves to throw Belichek off his coaching game, and try to hide video cameras to steal their plays. Not Really.

I like the Buffalo Bills in this one. The line on the game opened at 14 and now its up to 16 ½ . I feel Buffalo has a lot to prove , and news that Jim Kelly (NFL HALL OF FAMER AND FORMER BUFFALO BILLS QB), is making a bid to buy the Buffalo Bills makes them want to win! Look for JP Lossman to Lee Evans, 3 catches for 124 yds.

My Educated Bet is Buffalo Bills beating the spread and winning the game out right. If your in the betting mood , take Buffalo +16 ½.

Representing the New Orleans Saints today will be the girls from Chicks In The Huddle.

The Young and the Restless
By Nola Chick

A message to Vince Young: unlike my momma’s okra gumbo, revenge is a dish best served cold. For you, you very strange looking young man, it will come in the form of a fired up former foe who would love nothing more than to run over your defense and single-handedly keep your offense off the field in a Monday Night spectacle. You see, Reggie remembers what happened January 4, 2006, when you lead the Longhorns over his USC Trojans in the final minutes of the game. Truth be told, he took no pleasure in watching Uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite walk all over his team. And while we’re on the subject, here’s a friendly reminder to pack your Longhorns National Championship T-shirt when you set out for the Big Easy. You’ll need it for comfort come Tuesday morning. To read the rest of this article, visit Nola Chick over at Chicks In The Huddle.

If any bloggers out there (especially female bloggers) would like the opportunity to participate in the weekly Blog-Off and defend their team here on Hot Chicks Hot Picks Sports Betting, just drop us a line at chickswithpicks at gmail.com. We’d love to hear your thoughts.

In the interest of hearing a full range of sports and sports betting commentary on this blog, we here at HCHP Sports Betting are starting a new feature - The Blog-Off.

Every weekend, we’ll be picking a particularly interesting game, and selecting two bloggers to go head to head in their thoughts and predictions on that match up. These bloggers will be from blogs that represent those individual teams. In other words, the rabid die hard fan bloggers. The ones who sit down at their computers with their faces painted to match their team colors.

This week we’ve selected the New Orleans Saints vs the Tennessee Titans. This match up is particularly interesting because The Saints face a must win situation against a Titans team that is hard to beat, not because they are supremely talented or anything, but simply because they believe that every time Uncle Rico has the ball, they have a chance to win.

In many ways, the Titans play on emotion and that’s what many people are beginning to think about the Saints who had a magical run last year becoming America’s team but have been slow out of the gate this season. Were they as good as we thought or were they simply playing on emotion?

So without further ado. Let the Blog-Off begin!
