What up all you sports betting freaks? Alikat is back with a recap of Week 10, which was very good for us. HCHP’s went 4-2 in our Money Picks and 5-3 in our Gun To The Head Picks! The biggest disappointment came of course from the Vikings being shutout against the Packers. I’m more concerned with the health of Adrian ‘Purple Jesus’ Peterson than I am the final score. It sounds as if he’s going to be back at some point this year. I hope the ‘Vikings Brass’ has enough sense to take a lot of time and care with the best running back to come into the NFL since Eric Dickerson. There is no need to try and salvage Brad Childress’s 2nd Lost Season. He needs to GO HOME! I’m so tired of this idiot trying to run plays with players that don’t fit ‘His System’ and not making ‘In Game’ adjustments that I’m about ready to send in my Head Coaching job application into the Vikings as we write.
The other big story was the Colts/Chargers game. What a bunch of SHIT that ball placement fiasco was at the end of the game. First, we have Joseph Addai getting the first down and the ball being placed where it should have been, Then VEGAS gets it’s precious little dirty hands on the situation (you know the whole country had the COLTS to COVER) and we sit through 15 minutes of phone gabbing between the NFL and VEGAS and God knows who else to see if we can’t Back that Ball Spot up about 10 inches. After all of this has taken place we of course wind up with the spot of the ball being just shy of the first down and the Colts having to make the Chip Shot Field Goal to WIN. VEGAS could care less that the COlTS will pull this out, despite Manning throwing an unprecedented 6 interceptions, so long as they won’t score a Touchdown and Cover at the end of the game. You see, up to that point, the Sportsbooks couldn’t have been doing that well, as there were a lot of underdogs covering, and we all know the majority of the public bets the favorite. Well, we get the chip shot field goal and lo and behold the best kicker in the game, ADAM, misses it! Norv Turner’s job is safe for another couple of weeks. I about tossed the Beer I was drinkin’ through my front window. The Colts would have ran that in for a touchdown and cover giving me a 5-1 record on the day. Anyhow, there are so many more important things to bitch about!
Since Week 6 we are 13-6-2! Our Season Total is 25-19-4 for a wonderful 56.8% winning percentage! If you take away Week 1 and tally up results from Week 2-10 HCHP’s is 24-16-2 for a whopping 60% Winning Percentage. Now, where else are you able to get this kind of WINNING for FREE?
